a destination

Located on scenic Chuckanut Drive (HWY 11) overlooking Samish Bay and the San Juan Islands. We are a casual dining destination restaurant offering great food and exceptional service - all in a beautiful setting.

Housed in a manor originally built in 1934, Chuckanut Manor has served Skagit Valley, Bellingham and surrounding areas for over 50 years.  With a classic roadhouse supper club feel, we embrace history while constantly striving to bring you new and inventive flavors from the kitchen and bar.

Join us for a quick bite to eat and a beer after a hike to oyster dome, a romantic dinner for two, or a holiday family gathering.  Come.  Sip a glass of wine as the sun sets over the bay and the islands.  Feast on a gourmet meal.

Born and raised in Bellingham, Washington, and a graduate of Bellingham Technical College Culinary/Baking Pastry program, Andy is a Certified Chef, Certified Pastry Chef, a member of American Culinary Federation (ACF), and a Washington State Chef's Association Chef.  He loves to share his knowledge of food and can often be found teaching cooking classes and doing demos around the community on his days off.  Andy's food is truly creative and inspired.

Victor Marquez

EXECUTIVE CHEF

Victor grew up in a small town outside of Guadalajara, Mexico - right in the heart of tequila country. In fact, his father worked his entire career for various tequila distilleries.  After Victor moved to Mt Vernon, he quickly worked his way up through local kitchens and, after a number of years as our sous chef,  became our Executive Chef in 2005.  His food is not only delicious, but beautiful.  He loves living and cooking in the Pacific Northwest because of the amazing beauty of the area and bounty of fresh seafood.
