We aim to showcase at least two of Washington and Oregon's talented winemakers each year. We love to go all out at these events from decor, to ingredients, to plating.
We don't simply choose a winery and match their wines with our dishes...we choose the wines and build the dishes around those specific wines. The dinners are created with the philosophy that wine should be treated like a condiment to the dish. Some compliment, and some contrast. The goal is for the wine to make the dish better, and vice versa.
Most of all, we like these dinners to be elegant without being pretentious. Wine dinners at The Manor are fun. Gathering at the table should never be a stuffy affair.
Drink. Eat. Talk. Laugh. Learn.
Treat yourself to a truly unique dining experience.

What a night with the amazingly talented husband and wife winemaking duo Michael Davies and Anna Matzinger of Matzinger Davies Wine Company from the Willamette Valley. New Zealand born Michael is the current winemaker at Rex Hill and A to Z. Anna was the winemaker at legendary Archery Summit. The two began their private label collaboration in 2006. We paired 4 courses with their fantastic wines, and threw in a couple more for fun.
"All it takes is a taste or two to know what they've captured in those bottles. Each one has its own special tale to tell. In the process, they frame the narrative of the story of how this couple came together to ultimately create such enological gems."
