DAY TRIPPING: Skagit, Snohomish, Whatcom & Island Counties

Being a destination restaurant has its advantages.  Our customers will take the time to get to places they value.  Places like the Manor.  And events in the surrounding area.

Do you have an event you think our customers would like to attend?  Give us information and a website to check out, and we'll make sure they are posted to our website.

Be sure to take a look at our Things to Do page for lots of everyday options.  We do live in a bit of paradise.  Enjoy it!

  Camano Island Studio Tour

STUDIO TOUR  MAY 7-9, 15-16

Have you ever taken the Studio Tour on Camano Island?  Originally held over Mother's Day weekend, it has expanded to include an encore weekend!  The guide features over 35 stops and 61 local artists.

This is a self-guided tour, meaning you can design your own experience as you meet with local artists to not only appreciate their work, but learn how it was made, where it was inspired and what it means to the artist. The story behind the art, together with your experience with it on this tour, is what turns something that is simply beautiful, into something meaningful.

The perfect ending to a great day trip is dinner at the Manor - relaxing with a glass of wine and enjoying the sunset.

Skagit Valley Tulip Festival

Millions of visitors enjoy the Tulip Festival each year when the fields turn into a rainbow of color.  Be sure to check out the Bloom Map to select your route.  Daffodils are the first to show their bright hues, next are the tulips, and finally the purple irises.

The best time to drive the Skagit fields is during the week. Plan a morning outing with friends, then stop by the Manor for lunch.  Or spend the night in our 2 bedroom suite B & B and make it an adventure!

Check out the great story in Sunset Magazine.
